Do you use Facebook?

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to start  a  topic to see if there is anyone here on BD that uses Facebook and if so, what do you use it for? Do you use it just to chat with friends or distant family? Do you use it as day to day timeline of your life (yes, some people do this for some reason), do you use it to share photos and videos, do you use it to view pages or groups, maybe you use it to promote a bussiness or bussinesses?


I know that a couple users on BD that I know on a more personal level have a Facebook and use it regularly/daily while others have an account, but rarely ever go on it.


I also seem to always hear people say they don't use Facebook anymore, but they use Twitter and Instagram. Then if you try and bring up Facebook in a conversation, they say 'FACEBOOK! WHO USES FACEBOOK ANYMORE?' and I always roll my eyes because I mean its not like Myspace that died down awhile ago.

Until sites stop coding in flash completely it will not go away for good. Such a thing will probably take many years as stated above by Brandon.

Regardless, the conversation has strayed off topic again so let's bring it back on topic now.

agreed it has gotten off topic, so this will be the last thing said, as coding and online security are becoming a major issue, it will not be long now before flash player becomes obsolete and will be unsupported by all of the browsers

This will be the last word on this, that while it may be outdated, until all sites no longer code with flash, it will not completely unsupported.

I mentioned this before, but I admit that I'm on there every day. I have started to consider giving it a break however.

I can be on Facebook a good amount. I do take a break from it on the weekends just to get away from it for a CENSORED. I do have to come back on there to do what I need to but I do agree you can take a break from it too

Yes BGRN uses it for its Facebook page which is pretty much it's pretty outlet of announcing stuff and updating its listeners and fans on stuff. We also have a twitter and youtube account, youtube is other one we use alot to post of videos of parts of some of our shows. We use twitter every now and then but it isn't used that often. We also keep people updated using our website. The problem with that is though, is that it all needed added by a site update which we dont get around to doing very much, so some of the news on there can be a tad bit outdated, but we do use it though for station updates abd announcements.

I apologize for being secretive on this but I would rather not say at this time. However, I will say that they've been removed as a result of selfish & stupid drug-related activities.

i remain my stand of refusing all to do with that circus.

Facebook has a lot of changes recently. But it does change a lot. I still have to get used to it. They took away the messages and just have the messenger. Everything is mostly the same apart from the timeline which does look a lot different than before. But changes will happen just got to get used to them

I know, I hate that they are focusing so heavily on their stupid messenger app.
