Camup General Discussion

First topic message reminder :

Hello everyone,

I make this topic today to help us get a discussion on Camup.tv going.

Camup is a pretty good site, it has both html5 and flash video players, a decent chat, free stream keys and even guest cams (though you have to become a 'donator' to activate this now)

Do any of you guys use Camup? How do you like it? I will provide my experience with it in the next post.

I for one have other priorities at present, which includes the recovery from a sudden winter storm that has my part of the world locked down as well as some unexpected complications of life (the details of which I'd rather not talk about).

i Just found out last night that camup will be shutting down at the end of may from what i seen on the front page of camup.

Yes it is sad news about Cam Up shutting down at the end of the May. It was a good run while it lasted but I will miss Can Up. Brandon is doing his best to save the website if he can but we will see what happens before the end of May Smile

The official Camup shutdown may not be happening after all, as there are new casters coming to the site and contributing their support of the site.

As of 9:25AM CDST on 5/17/2022, Camup's status now stands as "In limbo" due to a number of new additions to the site.

According to the news that I've received, Camup is not "in Limbo" anymore. There's a chance that it could permanently close down at the end of June 2022 however.

Thanks for the updates Arthur. I did donate a bit of money to my account on there. I do love doing shows on my own channel and also on BGRN on Sunday. I hope it stays open as long as possible Smile

The following message has been posted on Camup's main page (as of 3:40PM CDST on 7/27/2022).

Site to be shutdown July 31, 2022

We are forced to shutdown site as we are unable to meet server dues this month. Thanks to everyone who helped keep the site going.

Well that is a really old message now, The site is good for another month which is August. That is with my big donation I did today. It won't be shutting down at all with any donations coming in. But thought I would donate since the last time I did was back in June. Long Live Cam Up Smile

I forgot the exact details of the message I posted tbh, but this has turned out to be a mistake made by one of the site's other casters. Its been rendered redundant now though, and I suggest that we try and leave it behind as we keep moving forward with Camup.
