Camup General Discussion

First topic message reminder :

Hello everyone,

I make this topic today to help us get a discussion on Camup.tv going.

Camup is a pretty good site, it has both html5 and flash video players, a decent chat, free stream keys and even guest cams (though you have to become a 'donator' to activate this now)

Do any of you guys use Camup? How do you like it? I will provide my experience with it in the next post.

We can all thank Juan for his actions, as they have been QUITE effective in terms of getting rid of the troll that was always attacking Robin.

I agree with you there. It did help with the troll bothering Robin the whole time

Sadly even Juan has gotten at least one troll now, and this person has been VERY racist  Frustratingly this person uses a VPN, so its VERY difficult (if not impossible) for Camup's mods to get rid of them. Such is why sites like Camup NEED to ban the use of VPN's but I for one have NO Idea if/when this will actually happen.

That sounds like a good idea there. I did see that was someone trying to be Steven in the Studio B room. He wasn't even in there at all as he only tunes into the BGRN shows when he can which isn't too often

Good news folks, the Camup Christmas Spectacular will live on this year despite Gator Mix no longer casting on the site. As BGRN is going to pick up the mantle.

Yes it will be only next Friday when it starts up. Looking forward to it and it should be a very Cam Up Christmas event

I'm happy to say that I have made my contribution to this event.

I am also happy I did make two videos for this event I didn't say a lot in the two videos but it was the best I could do for this event

I consider the 2021 Camup Christmas Spectacular to be a resounding success, and I'm hoping that next year's event will follow suit.

Yes indeed and I had a blast hosting this year. We will see if I end up hosting it again next year, but if no one else volunteers I certainly would be willing to do again next year .

it was alot of fun this year i enjoyed it i think you got the gig either way since people enjoyed it

I enjoyed it as well tbh. Sadly Camup still has an issue with a disrespectful and racist troll at present though

Yes it was very well done this year and I did enjoy it. I know my video for next week will be a lot better and I know I will try and say a lot more in the video along with adding two TobyMac Christmas songs too. I do agree with the troll as it is getting really annoying with saying the same stuff in my show, Aaron's show, and also in Gary's show yesterday. Got to keep silencing the troll and hopefully it will go away at some point

Yes it was very well done with all of the casters who did videos along with the whole show being very well done. I know my video for next year will be much better with more talking and thanking the staff at Cam Up. Also share two of my favorite TobyMac Christmas songs

Hopefully the 2022 version of this event will be just as fun.

Yes it will wait till December. For now just to focus on my shows on BGRN or on Praise FM with DJ Josh when it does work out to do a show on my own channel

I'm sure that the 2022 Camup Christmas Spectacular will be just as fun as the 2021 version. Such is not the top priority at the present time however.

Yes it is almost the end of the year so I got lots of time before then

i think will have to wait and see what is in store for later this year we still have a long time before we worry about the camup christmas again right now we have to worry about the normal shows first
