You can talk about your favorite Skype features, favorite version, Skype credit, or any other thing that can be generally talk about among people!

Google is strong, but I love it. I hate Microsoft. I have my reasons.

avoid both as much as possible, plain and simple

How can you possibly avoid both? They both along with Apple and Facebook pricatally own the internet!

Google own internet.

And if Microsoft keep work like to now, they will not be on top any more

still can be avoided in some way, and when they can be avoided, one does so

You not that chrome browser you use? How about those ads at the top of this website? How can it be avoided when even privately websites contain ads by them.

I agree with Charlie since Mircosoft took over Skype it hasn't been good at all. It was better before since all of the new updates have messed it up even more

That is true, however, there is still no software that can match it .

I have to agree with Brandon, as Skype is much more readily available than Google Talk is and one doesn't need to purchase it or program credit to use a webcam in a group call (well, not anymore).

Preciselly right, I know Facebook has it's video chat feature as well but it is still not the same and as easy to use and or set up. I would use Skype any day .

I have used this program before and its not very good. So its better to have skype installed on one's computer.

Microsoft is evil

Skype's like a replacement for their dead Microsoft Messenger... I don't see too much of a difference in functionality except that Skype allows calls by credit, which I think was developed before Microsoft bought it.

Yeah the skype credit was developed WAY before, I still have left over credits from like 2009 on my skype.

I'm sure that I mentioned this earlier, but Microsoft purchased Skype to compete with Apple and Google (I forgot when the actual purchase took place though). Unfortunately there's been a very noticeable downgrade in terms of program performance (and there are bothersome adds on it as well now) but its much more readily available than Google Talk and people don't have to buy Skype (I may be wrong about this though). Also, Microsoft terminated the MSN messenger program shortly after it purchased Skype.

No people do not have to buy Skype, however, you can buy/spend for things like Skype credit, your own (actual) phone number, your own voice mail, things of that nature, you do not have to buy the software. You can buy upgrades to make it better though.

they bought it to merge their messenger into Skype, but they should have left it alone, Microsoft is evil.

Why are they so evil for buying skype? It is actually a smart bussiness move on their part!

I've also learned that each skype update fixes errors created by the previous upgrade but creates new ones. Mind you, this information comes to me as somewhat 2nd-hand so I have no clue if its true or not.

Would not surprise me!

skype is a pain with the new upgrades, keep it as non updated as possible
