still going to say it, keep your Skype as UN-updated as possible

Well you can do that Charlie. I would say I would like to keep it to the most updated version of Skype. It does help for bug fixes and other things like that

Unfortunately such is just one of many things in life that are beyond our control. While it is frustrating to know that Skype is constantly being updated, all we can do is either begrudgingly go along with the updates or just not use the program at all.

Well every program needs updates, for both security reasons and maintence purposes, the thing is not put out too many un nessecary updates.

Unfortunatelly Microsoft if going to continue to update it with new features constantly, simply because it is part of their office platform now, so they want to keep their paying customers happy.

I recall a time where Skype was the number 1 online communication platform. Such isn't the case anymore though, and I for one am convinced that Microsoft's purchase of it has a role to play.

Unfortunatelly no matter how much we dislike it, they will continue to update Skype. That is just the way it is I am afraid and we will just have to live with it.

unless we decide to abandon it and switch to OOvoo, forgive my spelling

I still use it but I can only update it to the newest version on Windows 10. I have tried updating it on Windows Vista Home Edition. It doesn't want to work at all

Just a update my old computer isn't working any more and I can't use Skype on it at all. I did update to the new version of Skype. It looks a lot of different and I will have to get use to it. I know Brandon did update to the new version of Skype since I did see him on there. I am sure Charlie still has a old version of Skype. I know Charlie's thoughts are that he didn't want to update it at all. I do understand that. But it still does need to get updated. Just wanted to post a update on this topic. Since I was the last one to post on this topic a long time ago
