Yes, I agree.

While 1mtvfan has a valid point on this, I need to point out that someone who has the basic version of Skype might not be able to talk with all of their friends (since these people might be trying to stay current & get the newest Skype update as soon as it comes out).

new Skype is a pain, keep your Skype as basic as possible until you're forced to upgrade it

more to my point

I don't use skype that often as far as calls go, but I have used it recently to make some content for @bgradionetwork (BGRN)'s youtube channel and it seems to be less glitchy now. Despite the occasional freezing of video on and off.

Does anyone else think Skype is less glitchy? Or is it just me and my lack if using it for calls constantly that makes it seem that way?

Well mine seems to work fine for me. I haven't found any glitches just keep updating it. I know when I use it to call someone else is fine. I haven't tried typing a message to anyone on there But it is all so different I get confused on what the different buttons are and everything else. I don't use Skype too much. Just some times to call my uncle who is a computer expert. I haven't talked to any of my other friends on there in a very long time

Yeah but eventually they will force you to update or the software won't work.

I agree with Brandon. You can not update it for as long as you can. But still you will have to update it at some point. There will be more new versions coming out. You need to update it at some point. Keeping a old version can be useful. But I would say updating does help. I haven't had any problems with the new versions I have updated to. I don't use Skype too much. Just get birthday reminders on there when people I do have on there have birthdays. Like for example today is a Martin's birthday. Skype told me that as it usually does

Well it isn't broke at all. But they have new versions that are available to download each time. I know using a older version can work. But it will still need to be updated at some point

If anyone wants to know, the very latest version of Skype (as of this post) can be syncronized with Google Chrome.

Unfortunatelly corporations like microsoft don't care or follow that rule. All they care about is money and anyway they can try to make money by adding new features and stuff, their gonna do it.

Just updated to the newest version of Skype today and haven't had any problems... yet.

Yeah I may have to update the skype version on my phone and tablet soon as skype sent me a message saying the current version installed wont work soon.

The version of Skype that I upgraded from will be permanently retired on July 1st, 2017. I'm not a big fan of this move, but its out of my hands.

We get the point mtvfan, no need to keep posting it. The thing is eventually skype (microsoft) will FORCE you to update otherwise it wont work at all. We may not like this, but such is out of our control.
