EX CN rail S60m 2448 welcoming the new arrival of EX Conrail SD60M 5566 to the LVCRR

upper reverse loop parts laid out for installation

The setup now has two EMD SD60M locomotives, as I was able to get former Conrail SD60M 5566 delivered to it yesterday. 1mtvfan has a photo of the two units, but hasn't posted it on here as of yet.

picture is up on here now, i just posted it, but i doubt anyone can see the differences
of styles in the cabs. also, new pic follows, but will be added later. and the plan to use old dead pens as uncoupling tools did not work as well as as i'd hoped, so i will have to go back to the drawing board on this.

EX Missouri Pacfic SD40-2 5372, fresh in a new Conrail paint, leading a cut of grain hoppers along the 2nd level of the LVCRR

I hope that the users of this site can get to see the pic I was talking about in an earlier post soon, as it shows just how different these cab styles are.

For those who want to know, the real version of this locomotive is now owned by a leasing company called Progress Rail services and wears the colors of CN Rail (sans CN markings, of course).

busy day at the  elevator today, Grain hoppers being loaded on spur one, while a 2nd string waits on
Spur 2.

lastly, 7835 is still in the process of testing, as it has been having "teething" issues as of late

I meant to visit the setup yesterday, but health problems kept me from doing this. Hopefully things will work out better today, but we'll just have to wait and see.

we just have to wait, but the setup itself isn't going anywhere yet

we are still working on the 2nd level though, so it's up in the air right now
also, a new steam loco has reached the LVCRR, but not much is known about it right now

at the elevator for grain car sorting duties for a set period of time. also, [Only mods are allowed to see this link] 7835 has passed its initial testing runs and is looking good to be re applied to service

Well it certainly is a start! The best way you can use them though is when you say 'pics', put it as '[Only mods are allowed to see this link] ' that way it becomes a hashtag.
