Re: General Itunes Discussion
I do know they are pushing Apple Music very hard in order to try and compete with Spotify.
Re: General Itunes Discussion
Spotify is different since it is just streaming music. Apple Music is just downloading your favorite music and listen to it as much as you can. That is how they call streaming for Apple Music. But I am still happy with Windows Media Player. I still use it to my music or even shuffled mix of CD's I got in my CD library. It is also great to make playlists on for Christmas time or whatever it may be

Actually I am pretty sure Apple music has a streaming element to it as well. As I recall reading online that they are the 3rd most popular music streaming service now after Spotify and Pandora.
Re: General Itunes Discussion
i think that one of the only services that apple music provides and the reason why they split it up was the fact they where putting to much functionality into itunes it's self making it to bloated to run on windows so the next couple of updates that i noticed they slimmed it back alot back to the core app it's self when it was first launched.

That is awesome. But still you got to download any music to want to then stream it as many times as I want to. That is how I see it. But first you need to do a 3 month trial before you can start paying every month. I am sure if I did Apple Music I would get lots of music to listen to. But still haven't decided if I want to do that. Hopefully it the new year it might work out

I guess I misread how the service works then.
Re: General Itunes Discussion
i have gone back to Itunes for Ripping mostly while i do like it i think it's a far better option for the CDs that are to scratched up that won't even rip with other software being that itunes just has better error correction when ripping a damaged CD so you can get the data off before it's not readable i like to have that in any CD Ripping software i try but so far nothing has matched Itunes in that department.
Re: General Itunes Discussion
yes it's the only software that can Rip a damaged CD WMP and sony music center for PC can not it get's stuck for a while on one track Itunes just blows right through it no issues and if it does get stuck it will rip part of the song and go to the next one.
Re: General Itunes Discussion
better Error correction it's able to handle damaged CD far better then other software out there.
Re: General Itunes Discussion
all mine that i bought are in good shape just the old ones that my dad owned that he gave me those are scratched up cuz they had no cases so.
