New Sound Room

First topic message reminder :

Well it's official, i have begun working on my sound room in my garage, i began putting up the walls today, got most of it done. I will be posting pictures, eventually.  The best thing about it is that i can mark up the room with having to heat up the entire garage   I want to get it done as quickly, but seems the money part is going to slow mw down a bit. Good thing i'm doing the work myself, or that would be another expense.  Till my next update... Keep Rocking

Any progress with the room today (as of 5/1/2020)?

No, as i've been doing work outside, and around the house, the rom is at a stand still. I'm looking for a desk that will fit in there nicely, my home built desk, i didn't like so i removed it.  Once i start working on it, i'm gonna try to get it done.  Tired of not being able to do nothing in my room.

Just a quick update: I'm still on the hunt for a Studio Desk, so right now everything is on hold in my room, until i can find one.  I search everyday, so hopefully i will find something soon.

I hope you find one soon so we can watch you do a show .

Actually. i'm not too concerned on doing shows, for me it will be my private room,  to create stuff, whether it  Graphic, audio mixing, voice overs and stuff like that.  Doing shows, well that just a bonus.

Eventually, i will do a show, when , well that's a whole different story.  As a homeowner, there is tons of shit that needs to get done,  so anything personal will always go to the back burner. That's why when i do something i do as much as i can do, if something comes up, i'm still ahead.  Like my room , it's about 75% done. Once i figure out what i'm doing with the floor, i can set up the room. As far as a Studio Desk, well that have changed, i will be using a small computer desk and a DJ Rack case i just picked up instead.

How many channels is that mixer? Also when can we expect you to use that equipment ?

TY, i had to laugh at that one Brandon. it's 6 channel and the master. What i like about it is you can record sample right from what ever your playing. It also has a voice changer, and built in EQ. However i have been searching Google for a while now and can't find any info on it?

It was a serious question though, will you use this equipment before I am old and gray

6 channels is a lot though, do you think you will need to use them all?

Also it is very strange isn't able to find information on it.

6 channels if you don't count the mic inputs mine is 7 with the 2 mic channels included i will have to Post a Pic of my board sometime in the other topic

Such is not a surprise in my book, as life has a way of making people see what is and isn't important.
