New Sound Room

First topic message reminder :

Well it's official, i have begun working on my sound room in my garage, i began putting up the walls today, got most of it done. I will be posting pictures, eventually.  The best thing about it is that i can mark up the room with having to heat up the entire garage   I want to get it done as quickly, but seems the money part is going to slow mw down a bit. Good thing i'm doing the work myself, or that would be another expense.  Till my next update... Keep Rocking

Yes Brandon,  i can, but i'm not since it would mean putting everything back just to take it out again to finish it.

Yes Aaron, its always a good idea for one to take their time while doing up a new room as rushing will cause problems that will be a real pain to sort out later.

Yep, your right Art, hate to rush and regret the decision i made later on.  I will be painting the room this weekend, might start tomorrow?? we'll see how the day goes.

Well, did some work on the room, got my door frame and door installed, started painting the room Got the ceiling and two side walls done, now i have to paint the peg board and the area underneath.  I have attached a few images.

Well got the peg board painted and painted the door to match the wall.  Doesn't seem like much work but i been at this all day. Now i need to paint underneath , haven't made my mind up yet what color? might go with the same grey that's on the wall or a darker grey.  Guess we will see.

Yes it's bifold door,  but it a solid core door, so strong sturdy and blocks the noise going out. reason for this was that i already had it sitting around, so i used it. 

i guess what ever works for a door but the room looks really nice tho frank

Indeed what works, solid core also means its not easily kicked in.

Thanks Guys, it's something i been meaning to do for quite sometime, just didn't have the mindset to do it.  When i'm done with it , it will have my studio equipment and sublimations equipment for creating my tshirts and such.   That was all the junk you saw in the original pics.

 I used to, i only do stuff for the kids now, not like before, when i used to make them for the schools and such.

Nah your Dining Room studio does fine for what you do much like my room that doubles as my studio i do with what i have to work with
