How often do you watch tv?

First topic message reminder :

Just as the title says, how do you watch tv? I mean really sit down and watch tv? Everyday? Every other day? Once a week? Twice a week? Every other week? Once or twice a month? When you sit down and genuinely watch tv, what do you watch? Sports? A tv show, numerous tv shows? Movies? What?


Feel free to tell us all these and whatever else related to this subject you want to discuss, in this topic.

I watch TV a lot actually, but always try to mute the audio whenever an add that I don't want to hear comes on.

The only time I do see ads or commericals is on live TV on my PVR. That only happens some times. I do watch record shows on the PVR and I can fast forward through all of the ads and commericals. Then I don't have to see them or hear them at all. That is why i do love recording shows since muting the commericals gets too annoying after a while

My situation regarding this matter remains the same as of 4:35PM CST on 1/9/2021.

Well there isn't much on TV now these days. There is some new seasons of different TV shows I am watching like FBI, FBI Most Wanted, S.W.A.T., The Resident, 9-1-1, and many more. Other than that there isn't much else on TV. I have been watching Full House or Fuller House on Netflix's too

I watch a lot of reruns on TV these days, as there doesn't appear to be a lot of new shows being aired at this moment in time.

the only time i really watch TV anymore is the walking dead other then that i don't hardly ever watch TV.

Me too, when i do sit down to watch TV i fall asleep anyways.. LOL

Well you must watch some pretty boring stuff. I mainly just watch Netflix, Hulu or anothanother streaming service on my tv these days.

i'm finding netflix is more interesting as of late

I do watch a good amount of TV from new TV shows along my other favorite TV shows. I do watch Netflix some times but a lot just for something different to watch. That is about it for me

I have to say that I still watch a lot of TV these days. I've been doing what I can to avoid anything related to the world's current BS though, and this means boycotting at least two all-news channels. I've also chosen to stop watching CBC Television and Paramount Network.

I hardly ever watch tv.

So there is no modern Canadian TV shows you like?

As I said, I do enjoy watching Canadian shows like Murdoch Mysteries (even if they are reruns), as well as shows like Highway through Hell and heavy rescue 401. I have also seen some episodes of a show called Rust Valley restorers.

If i do watch tv its some reruns of old tv normally. I perfer the radio because i can do something else and still keep attention. With tv i have to watch and listen therefore making it harder to do something else.  I don't have cable i just have tv antenna. Maybe later this year i might set up my ku band sat. tv again.

I do watch TV a good amount but it is mostly TV shows I have recorded on my PVR since then I can fast forward all of the commercials. I do rarely watch live TV. I also do watch NBA basketball games but mostly Toronto Raptors games. I also do watch movies on Saturday night for something different to watch. I can also watch TV shows on demand for certain channels. It does work out well with only three commercials in the TV show on demand. That is about it

Cool Pentium, I mostly use my tv for Netflix or Hulu personally.

i'm a netflix person now i barely watch TV 90% of the time.

I watch TV every day, but am currently boycotting several TV channels in response to the high level of BS that's been airing as of late.

Well I can't find too much on Netflix. There is some good movies and TV shows on there. But not a lot of good stuff on Netflix. That is why I do watch a good amount of TV along with movies. I do avoid any new channels as it is mostly all bad news on there

My information may be out of date, but I've been led to believe that Netflix Canada isn't as good as the original Netflix.
