How often do you watch tv?

Just as the title says, how do you watch tv? I mean really sit down and watch tv? Everyday? Every other day? Once a week? Twice a week? Every other week? Once or twice a month? When you sit down and genuinely watch tv, what do you watch? Sports? A tv show, numerous tv shows? Movies? What?


Feel free to tell us all these and whatever else related to this subject you want to discuss, in this topic.

It's pricey going to any game in person Aaron. But that is what the tv is for.

I do watch different shows from NBA basketball shows. Tonight I will be Raptors Game In A Hour which has the whole game of Raptors and Bucks from last night in a hour. Also this very interesting show called Drain The Oceans which is very cool since it can show ship wrecks from back in the times of the war and also planes in the bottom of the ocean floor. It is very interesting show and I started watching it back in the summer time. I also do have some Food shows I do watch since I do love watch them too. But that is all I can say for now

Well I am with Shaw. In the west there is only Shaw and Telus. Bell is mostly out east but you can Bell out here. Been with Shaw a long time now. I didn't like Telus at all. But it is mostly just TV and internet. It works for me and it is local since it is the only one of the few things you can get out here for cable

we have Directv here but we also have Cox here as well and Dish but out of the 3 dish sucks when we had it they where removing channels left and right you don't get that with directv we have all our channels an then some for internet we have Century Link DSL the one through the cable company we have out here is expensive as heck so we have what we have.

Never heard of Shaw there Josh, must be a Canadian only company. I have heard of Telus, but I know they don't exist in the US so.

I actually watched NCIS on actual tv yesterday. I hadn't watched that show in about 5 years so I was surprised by how much had changed on it.

cool i only seen NCIS when it first aired have not watched it since cuz i really wasn't into it.

It is a good show, the problem now is that it has been around for so long many of the original cast have left and this has lead to it being almost a new show I think.

Plus it has spawned a couple of it's spin off shows.

Shaw is a Canadian company but that is cool you know of Telus in the USA. I also don't watch NCIS

Telus never heard of it we don't have that in Arizona only ones we have here is Cox communications Directv Dish Network that's all we have as providers here.

The companies in Canada and USA are different for TV or phone services or whatever it may be

Not sure what Netflix would count as since I know some people I know as friends got Netflix and they can watch different shows on it. I have also discovered On Demand which I can watch any of my favorite TV shows on it. It is great since it has no commericals on it well very few commericals. But it is only the whole show and it takes less time to watch the show. Like say I wanted to watch a show that is an hour it would take me 45 minutes to watch it On Demand. I am loving On Demand too

Found out today that you can actually watch live tv on a Roku with Comcast by using the xfinity stream app. I used it for the time today to watch NCIS when my parents came over. I do think it is a cool feature that everyone should try if their cable provider has the feature .

Pretty sure that my cable provider (BellMTS) does not have this particular feature. Also, my parents have started to think about cancelling some the tv channels we get due to the cost associated with them (our latest service bill was almost $300 CDN). Unfortunately they have not been able to reach an absolute conclusion as to what channels are going yet, but this will be happening regardless.

we have a Roku Stick but we hardly use it and it's linked in with an amazon account through my dads work so that's why we don't use it alot.

I haven't used anything on the Roku TV yet. Just used it for cable and DVD player so far. I haven't used it for the PlayStation yet. There is also a way you can share pictures or music from your phone on the TV. That is very cool just I haven't used it yet. I know there is also free stuff you can watch on there just I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Mostly just watch stuff on the PVR along with NBA basketball games including Toronto Raptor games. Also movies that are on TV that I do record and watch too. I have been loving it so far. I got it for Christmas but it works good. I do love to use the changer or just use the Roku App on my phone or turn on the TV or switch from the cable to DVD or PlayStation. But it is a real great TV. I can see everything on the TV since it is such a big TV at 43 inches. It works much better than my old TV which is in my mom's room and she is using it now. I have to say I love my Roku TV

I rarely get to watch TV, most at night time when i go to bed i 'll watch the News, but other than that very rarely.  MY family watches movies on Roku, they seem to enjoy it.  I have no real interest in in it, unless i really want to watch a movie, i might use it. But haven't yet.

i'm more of a Physical Media guy i like my movies on DVD the only time i watch online is netflix for original shows or some movies normal TV for Like the Walking dead and blue Bloods that's really about it other then that really don't watch much TV.
