Favorite AM Radio Stations?

Everyone can post there favorite AM Radio Stations here, there are a lot of sports stations, news stations and even a few music ones as well.

Which ones do you like?

it used to be news, but not anymore, most governments are controlling the media and telling them what can and can't be said. or printed

No, the government can not LEGALLY stop the media from saying anything, they can not release information, but if the media finds a way to obtain it they can not legally stop them from reporting it or showing it unless it could the public in danger or put human life at risk. Even these cases must be done through a judge and the judge has to sign a document stating such. It is more that the mediq companies (like CNN) choose to blow everything up more then nessecary.

most of the government leaders own a large stake in the media, that's how the propaganda is spread though the media, but again, this is straying from the thread topic

Yes but they bash politics all the time, it is a prime example of how the government can not restrict anyone from saying anything. I am pretty sure no politician has a stock with Fox News! That was my point.

fox news doesn't report the news, it makes up stories to tell, that's not news.

No it bashes politics and blames politics for every thing that happens, but it proves that the government does not control the content of the media or own stocks in every media company.v

Well yeah I suppose, but that was the direction the conversation was headed, I also like a new york sports station that has Mike Francesa .

getting back on topic, people have mostly all switched to FM, but there are some people that still listen to am

Yeah but even people who listen to FM Radio (I do) also listen to AM on occasion if only so they can hear a special program or sports event.

AM Radio still serves it's part though, may not be as popular today, but it defintelly serves a purpose.

I love my sports station on AM Radio.

I prefer music and general interest radio stations myself, but an occasional sportscast on the radio is okay

fm is much better these days
