Camup General Discussion

First topic message reminder :

Hello everyone,

I make this topic today to help us get a discussion on Camup.tv going.

Camup is a pretty good site, it has both html5 and flash video players, a decent chat, free stream keys and even guest cams (though you have to become a 'donator' to activate this now)

Do any of you guys use Camup? How do you like it? I will provide my experience with it in the next post.

Its interesting to know that Camup now offers its casters the option of not being featured. I apologize for not being able to go live on the BGRN btw, but computer issues happen from time to time.

I must say though the black homepage does look a lot nicer than the old white one. It is easier on the eyes as well .

yeah i like the new home page it looks nice but they do need to change things again tho to make the things on the home page look nicer tho

What else do they need to change?

I can't find or think of anything that needs to be changed on Camup at present but will point it out when I can.

let's see they need to Update the Live Now Part of the front page it's been broken for 2 months now counter on how many times you been featured and when you where last featured those 2 things are broken also that's all i could find.

It is true the screenshots from the live now part is broken, but the last featured counter does work, and as far as I can the featured counter does as well.

it says featured a month ago brandon and has not changed every time we get featured even after refreshing.

It seems it is still they are working on. It is good they fixed the picture on BGRN when BGRN is live since I did see on Wednesday night that was a picture of Aaron instead a real old picture of me with a Christmas tree behind me. It seems the same is on my channel since I do see that when I am live in my room on Sunday. I am sure it will be fixed at some point

Both the homepage screenshot thingy on the live now feature, as well as the featured counter seem to working normally again.

don't hold your breath josh noticed the live now part on the front page is broken again it has not updated since his show so Larry fixes one thing and it breaks another so these bugs that keep popping up are hard for Larry to keep track of so who knows i think the Live now part of the front page needs to go half the time it don't even work or update so.

Camup's guest chat also seems to be broken, as a friend of mine said that they couldn't access it while I was informed that it was working.

It seems it is broken again. It was fixed but now it is broken again. It was showing the same picture from my BGRN show last Sunday. That was when Aaron and Arthur were live on Wednesday and Thursday on BGRN. Hopefully it is fixed soon along with the guest chat and other things too

I will admit that its frustrating to see that Camup's guest chat is always breaking but Larry is only one person and can only do so much at one time.

The guest chat works fine, tho on occasion there does seem to be a glitch where it says 'Guest access denied'. I did email Larry about this.

Hopefully the situation can be 100% resolved soon, as it has started to become an annoyance.

It seems to happen some times in my phone but I only get it once as a guest the other times it says guest chat denied. I couldn't find the app called Flash 2020 as it doesn't exist in my app store on my phone. I am sure it would be fine on the laptop using another browser like Google Chrome or Mircosoft Edge

I was under the impression that Flash was completely dead. Unfortunately I don't know if there is an HTML5 app for mobile devices or not but, if they don't, I hope that they develop one soon.

Camup is 100% HTML5, Flash is dead and buried now.

Yes I do see that now. Anyways my show on BGRN wasn't the best on Sunday but I still got through it apart from all of that went on. Hopefully my show this Sunday with the time change of an hour ahead will go much better on BGRN

I will be live on the BGRN's Camup channel this Thursday (3/11/2021), starting at 5:00PM. Just letting everyone know.

Thanks for the heads up. I did miss your short show since I am sure it was over before I even got off from work. I hope it was a good show. Just a reminder I am live tomorrow on BGRN going to be a good show too
