Do you use OBS?
First topic message reminder :
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone else uses OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) as a media encoder to stream their casts? I started using it about a month ago or so, it seems to work well. It doesn't use alot of cpu usage and audio and video run crystal clear once you have the settings right.

Re: Do you use OBS?
i went back to using OBS Classic cuz it refuses to start Hardware AMD Encoding so i repeat if you have a machine that uses an AMD Chipset makes sure your up to date if not you won't be able to run OBS Studio unless you use Software encoding to bypass it that almost never works anyways without dropping frames.
Re: Do you use OBS?
You have fixed the problem you were having with OBS now right @DJAaronRadio? So the problem isn't with the update itself.
Re: Do you use OBS?
ok as i found out the issue was when i reinstalled the driver i didn't turn the Hardware encoding so i had to make sure to do that that's what happens when driver issues happen always got to make sure the settings are turned on for OBS to work right
Re: Do you use OBS?
So the problem wasn't with the update then?

Re: Do you use OBS?
partly yes and no see version 23.1 had issues with AMD drivers 23.2 fixed the issues that i was having and it also helped to update your graphics drivers that 23.1 had issues with out of the gate issue was it saying the driver was not up to date when it actually was so 23.1 i would avoid if your on AMD the main issue was i couldn't use my Hardware AMD Encoding to smooth out the streams FPS in turn it kept popping up an error message saying driver version is not up to date version 23.2 fixed issues in question when i turned everything on before the new version of OBS they kind of over looked that with AMD users in version 23.1 just thought i put that out there if your running the 7800 Series HD Graphics by AMD.
Re: Do you use OBS?
Well I am glad the update itself wasn't the problem. I have now updated mine and so far I am having no problems with my obs.
Re: Do you use OBS?
ya but i'm glad things are working fine now as far as OBS goes it was kind of a pain there for a while
Re: Do you use OBS?
That's good. Have you used any of the new features that came out with the recent update?
Re: Do you use OBS?
Green Screen feature doesn't work for me since i'm on an AMD Chipset that only requires intel to run what other new features are there so far the Green Screen is the only one i seen at the moment.
Re: Do you use OBS?
I wasn't aware that OBS had this feature tbh.
