My new well car did come with at least 4 model 20' shipping containers but I've had to strike 2 of these from my container roster as they are not of the best quality and too short for my needs. I will not be getting rid of these 2 containers though, I've decided to turn them into storage sheds (such is a common occurrence in the real world and happens to a lot of old containers and trailers). Unfortunately this means that I have to operate some single-stack well cars but such is done in real life so I'm not too bothered.

Frustratingly there is still no update in the construction progress, but several events and priorities in life are to blame for the major delay.

Hello everyone, got another update to share.

Sadly there is still no update in terms of track work once again due to the priorities of life at this time (10:15am on 6/4/2019), but the PLRX's Grain Express has gained another car and another cargo. This new car makes the train 48 cars long, but there are at least 6 cars that are currently inactive (which will make the train surpass 50 cars if and/or when they ever become active). As for the new cargo, the train now carries 4 carloads of Barley in addition to the more traditional grain.

Here's another update from me regarding the Phoenix Line Railroad...

Due to yet another disagreement with my twin brother as well as train length and weight issues, there is a chance that this railroad's "Grain Express" will not be running as a complete train. It will most likely be running in two separate sections instead, but its hard to say for sure at present due to the physical construction not being complete plus the setup not having any power whatsoever.

Just letting you know that construction of the PLRX remains stalled (due to several other priorities) as of 6/8/2019. I will admit that this has become quite frustrating but there's very little I can do in response to it.

Hello everyone,

I have to report another issue that has happened just recently and will further delay track work on the PLRX. Frustratingly, my parents' washing machine went on the fritz yesterday (6/9/2019) and is needing professional repairs. Such is on top of car repairs and the matter of getting the all-metal roof situation sorted out, so the railroad probably won't be up and running until sometime in 2020.

Got another update to share with you tonight (as of 20:30hrs on 6/10/2019).

My twin brother managed to install a small piece of track between some switches earlier today, but I had to remove it because this bit of track was making one of the switches bow out and destroy the track line even though it was cut before being installed. Unfortunately this piece will have to be trimmed further before anyone attempts to reinstall it.

Hello everyone, here is another update.

As of 9:20 AM on 6/12/2019, the PLRX has another small piece of track installed but its going to be a while yet before all of the track work is finished. Also, both of the laundry machines in my parents' place are going to be replaced soon (due to being 11 years old) and this will eat up a lot of cash. I can openly admit that this further complication to work on the railroad has left me with more frustration than I'm wanting but it would seem that issues in my family's lives have to get worse before they can get better.

I'm sad to say that the piece of track installed yesterday has been removed because it wasn't working in the place it was installed into. Such is frustrating but there's not very much that I can do about the lack of progress.

As of 13:15hrs as of 6/20/2019, track construction remains stalled. There have been a few frustrations associated with this matter but its probably better for me to not discuss them.

This failure was not a major deal actually, it just needed to have some material trimmed off before it could fit in the space allocated for it. This has been done now though, and it works perfectly. Sadly (and somewhat frustratingly), there has been yet another delay that may result in the PLRX not operating until possibly 2021. As of 6/22/2019, my mother has had enough of living in a place with a leaky as well as moldy basement and has started the process of getting this problem fixed. As I mentioned earlier, this is yet another delay in regards to finishing the PLRX's track work. On the other side of this coin however, its not good for someone to be exposed to damp and/or moldy areas on a regular basis.

I know this update is very late in coming, and I apologize for this btw, but I've been trying to keep busy with other things. Anyway, my brother and I have a video of the new setup (as of 12:01PM Central time on May 26th) but I am not able to post it on here due to the site's inability to host videos.

Another update from me here folks!

My parents' new laundry machines will be delivered at some point tomorrow (7/3/2019) and this will resolve the laundry issue that my family's place has been having for the past 2 or so weeks. Unfortunately I have no idea when and/or if track work on the PLRX will be starting up again or not but I am trying to remain somewhat optimistic about the matter.
