Train sets!

i am also still looking for some more cylindrical grain hoppers, and also anything of interest in the way of model buildings and track-side scenery, so feel free to offer some up if you have any laying about or know how to come about them

update, no packing tonight, going TV hunting, will try to finish packing my stuff tomorrow.

Wasn't able to visit the setup tonight due to chore obligations (6/30/2017), but I will try & make up for it next week. I did have something to tell 1mtvfan as well, but I've decided that such isn't a good idea.

packing will be finished at some point next week, and that is ALL i am visiting the layout for now, so once that is done, i will be out of the layout venture completely and will remain that way until the new one is built, unless that is not functional enough for me.

Update, my next visit to liptonville will be one of the last times i visit, as i will resume the plan to pack my things and prepare for its dismantling, I am saddened to have to take this action, but with NO plans from the builder to put in any landscaping, i feel it is the only option i am left with. My equipment will remain on the layout site, but i am planning to transport it back to my house if the builder continues to say no to my plans on landscaping

date is set for my packing up to resume, will be this thursday, may give 4506 one last run around before i say goodbye to liptonville for the rest of the year, i don't know yet, but i know i'm not going to vist after my things are all packed away, so once again, RIP liptonville

Paid a visit to the setup yesterday (7/2/2017) and was able to run a short freight train after solving some problems created as a result of a model freight car not co-operating. Was also able to help 1mtvfan do a little more packing, even though I still completely disagree with such a move.

bit of an update from me here. I meant to visit the setup on Monday night but was distracted by a Skype group call. I wasn't able to visit last night either, due to a volunteer commitment, but tonight will be different.

its not going well actually, there has been no landscaping put into place, so i have chosen to remove my equipment from the layout entirely

update, packing will wait till Friday eve, hope TTFan hasn't damaged my container wells too badly, as he's said some were damaged slightly due to his trying to help, which is not necessary, because i am quite capable of doing the packing on my own.

Its not going as well as you might think Josh, as Charlie is continuing his boycott due to a train length (and subsequent weight) limit that is meant to be helpful in regards to locomotive longevity. Also, I've been having to endure a moderate amount of harassment about the issue. I'm sorry to say I wasn't able to visit the site again this evening (7/5/2017), but only because I chose to visit my other brother's new place. I'm cautiously optimistic that I can make up for this tomorrow evening (7/6/2017).

And as of late, I have been bored to no end with little to nothing to fill the gap

Update, my hand has been forced, so i will be bagging up my equipment after boxing it up and bringing it home, along with the Alco unit as TTFan has refused to use it as intended, so he will have to do without it now, as it was not purchased to be made to sit out and do nothing

further update, tonight or tomorrow night will be my final visit to liptonville for the rest of the year, as i am bagging up the items that i have packed away previously, and will pack up and bag what i have left out prior to today, so i should be out of the picture by next week, everything will be brought home and the bags will be sitting on the 3rd floor of my house. again, i am saddened to have to take this action, but TTfan has threaten to toss my equipment into the trash if it sits on the layout site unused for much longer, and with no work on landscaping even close to starting, i am not going to operate my equipment on an unfinished layout any longer.

still further update, have started transporting my model rail equipment home, only about 3.75 so far, but i will keep going until it is all home, west line tracks look very barren now, but this is a choice i am going to stick with, TTfan is being a btard and has hidden the alco loco, but i will find it eventually, because it wasn't made to sit out and watch as things pass it by.

One more update, well cars are fine, it was a drawbar that broke
Sadly, these drawbars have become EXTREMELY hard to find or are nowhere to be found
so I may have to make some homemade ones or talk to a buddy of mine and see what he can do
with his 3D printer to make some for me and TTfan

Haven't been to the setup at all this week, but such is mostly due to friendship obligations. I'm cautiously optimistic about being able to visit the setup at least once during the coming week but nothing is guaranteed. I've been told that some of my passenger equipment has been moved into the now-former container yard 1 recently, but I'm still not entirely sure if such is true or not.

it's still a container yard, but it's just looking so bare, that it looks a tiny bit nicer to have some equipment placed in it

will go sometime later in the next week to transport more of my equipment home. i still feel saddened to have to do this, but as the demands to put in some landscaping in place have been ignored or declined, i see no other option.

update, may go Wednesday eve to bring another bunch of my equipment home from liptonville, but will have to see how i feel and what's happening that day, not sure yet how to bring some of my new containers home, but i am sure i can think of something, and recent news has me glad i am starting to bag up my equipment and transport it home now. And again, RIP liptonville, only up for 3 years and gone too soon.
