Favorite microphone brand?

Just a general question; what is your preferred brand for microphones?

I'll say the obvious pick; Shure. But I do like Yoga, too.

Logitech is a great company, they make good quality products and microphones for an affordable price, however, there are better brands of microphones made by companies that SPECIALIZE in just MAKING microphones, these are more advanced, have more features, smoother audio quality and just have far better capabilities then a company that makes microphones for the general public (Logitech), they are made just for radio. I firmly believe both Pros and an Amateur would LOVE to have one of these if they had the money, unfortunately most small 1 person operations often don't have that much money since most of those are funded just out of that person's pocket. Hence, they probably would use a Logitech or something else similar .

logitech is good for most, so i'm sure even pros use it if they aren't sponsored or have ties to a major radio company

I don't think as many people use them as you may think, especially in the pros, there are better microphones that are only slightly more expensive then the best logitech.

1mtvfan, just because you cant afford a certain type of microphone, doesnt mean you cant have a favorite type or even specific mics . My favorite car is a mustang, now I probably wont be able to afford one in the near future, that doesnt mean I cant still have it as a favorite.

This topic is about favorite microphones, not what microphones you can afford or cant afford, so if you have a favorite, feel free to post it in this topic.
