Flash support ending soon!

Hello everyone,

As you all know already but I want to repeat, Flash Support will end December 31st, 11:59pm ET. Marking the end of the flash era and the beginning of the more secure html5 era.

Its interesting that Brandon was able to find this countdown clock. I for one am not surprised that Flash Player doesn't have all that much time left however.

No one should be, it has been several years in the making.

I keep seeing it on Google Chrome when I try and search the internet. It keeps saying Flash will longer be supported till December 2020

Adobe Flash sent me a notice yesterday reminding that support ends next month and recommending if I don't need to use flash that I uninstall it. I did not uninstall it though.

I didn't get anything like that. Not sure how to uninstall it but I am sure if it is in the install programs I can uninstall it when it is time to do so

Flash certainly had a long run. It's discontinuation will mark an end of an era.

With Flash Player being officially dead (as of 1/1/2021), I suggest we lock this thread and have it moved to The Dump.

This topic can remain open, it isn't hurting anything and Flash support has been over a little under a month.
