Virtual DJ Software
First topic message reminder :
Have you guys used virtual DJ and if so what do you like about it? What are your favorite features? What type of applications do you use it for? I use mine for my show, let me what you guys use it for.

Re: Virtual DJ Software
yes cuz they have versions with controller support that uses a serial Key for that controller and it's only used for that controller only you can not and i mean can not use that on other controller cuz the Key is Unique to that controller only.
Re: Virtual DJ Software
yep , they really are tightening down on the piracy use, you need a special key for each controller.DJAaronRadio wrote:yes cuz they have versions with controller support that uses a serial Key for that controller and it's only used for that controller only you can not and i mean can not use that on other controller cuz the Key is Unique to that controller only.

Re: Virtual DJ Software
also i can't use my old Key with virtual DJ 2020 due to the fact if i want to keep using it with newer software i have to buy a new Key to use it with 2020 and yes i found out there is Mapping for the IDJ3 i would have to buy a new Key to use with the new version and that's what sucks about it they don't support the older Serial Keys for your controller's to continue to use it.
Re: Virtual DJ Software
I know, that suck i can see if they charged that must for you to be able to use unlimited controllers, but for just one it's ridiculous. $299 for unlimited controllers, for me is more than i can afford. For example they want $100 for my one controller and home use only?DJAaronRadio wrote:also i can't use my old Key with virtual DJ 2020 due to the fact if i want to keep using it with newer software i have to buy a new Key to use it with 2020 and yes i found out there is Mapping for the IDJ3 i would have to buy a new Key to use with the new version and that's what sucks about it they don't support the older Serial Keys for your controller's to continue to use it.

Re: Virtual DJ Software
ya it sucks and it's most likely not worth buying a new key just to use the controller even for home use i was more then happy using what i was using with virtual DJ LE 7 on one hand i would rather keep it there if i want to use my controller it still supports all file formats and i don't have to worry about getting a new serial Key for it.

Honestly, if your going to be using the software a lot, you might as well buy the one time price one for use with any controller.

Re: Virtual DJ Software
well i hardly use the controller now since most mixers these days do come with built in USB and brand new software so using the old LE version would be kind of pointless in the future but i will keep it on there just in case

Yep, always have a backup plan ready, incase the other software don't work.
