Train sets!

i am also still looking for some more cylindrical grain hoppers, and also anything of interest in the way of model buildings and track-side scenery, so feel free to offer some up if you have any laying about or know how to come about them

Christmas 2018 update here,

My twin brother got a pack of temperature-controlled shipping containers as a present. Unfortunately a piece of furniture (otherwise known as a dresser) remains in place at this time but negotiations to get it removed are still on-going.

Hello everyone,
Just a quick update to share here.
As of 15:00hrs on 12/29/2018, a linen cabinet that was located in a corner of the layout room has been removed from this area in preparation for future construction. I did (and still do) have some reservations about this particular activity being performed at such an early stage of construction, but I am somewhat comforted by the fact that it hasn't been moved too far away from its original location and can be returned to it if the construction supervisor (a.k.a. my dad) requests it.

Bit of an update here folks.
As of today (1/6/2019), the old dresser that had been occupying most of the space in the "Bedroom" section of the future train room has been removed. It may be a while before any construction in this area begins though, as the many and daily priorities of life are needed to be dealt with first.

Stay tuned for any further updates as the construction progress continues.

yes, but the progress on construction is still  PAINFULLY and NEEDLESSLY SLOW, Miserable winter drags on and on and on

there's been no progress on the construction at all the past few weeks, and I am SICK of waiting every week in and out

As I've said before, the priorities of life (such as working a job, going shopping, cooking meals and paying bills) are CONSIDERABLY more important than anything related to a model train setup. I am also not overjoyed about having to wait for this matter to be completed, but I accept the above. Its LONG past time for 1mtvfan to do the same (even if its done so reluctantly).

Sure wish that you'd stop being blinded by your personal issues mtv. 

Moving on, the setup construction will probably be on hold for a while during the upcoming summer as well due to my dad's seasonal employment obligations.

It is disappointing to know that construction of the new setup is constantly hitting roadblocks but, as I have said before, this matter is NOT a top priority and its builder has a lot of other things to concentrate on as well (the details of which I discussed in detail in an earlier post) but such is unavoidable at the present time. I for one STRONGLY suggest that 1mtvfan make an effort to accept this (even if its done very begrudgingly) as there's no other choice.

yes that's good that there is some progress being made

I agree about progress made in this matter but such is always waylaid whenever one of the many priorities in life comes up.
