Train sets!

First topic message reminder :

i am also still looking for some more cylindrical grain hoppers, and also anything of interest in the way of model buildings and track-side scenery, so feel free to offer some up if you have any laying about or know how to come about them

well, i haven't decided yet, but as it is is a piggyback trailer, i will probably use it that regard somehow, i am also now looking for another "all purpose" well car for myself and one for @TigerTankfan, but i am looking for ones that can take a 53' container

It seems no update at all on the train set. Just Charlie not feeling happy at all

with  yet STILL no work being done to clear the site, there is nothing but me being miserable

but i picked up a new covered hopper today, which brings the combined grain car fleet to 49, only looking for a few more, then i'm done with grain hoppers

While 1mtvfan and myself now have 49 grain hoppers, only 44 of them are active at present (due to physical condition issues).

my new one will soon be up and running, giving the combined fleet 45 operating grain hoppers

my new grain hopper is almost ready, it just needs couplers, so 45 cars now in the combine grain service fleet

For any one that wants to know, here is a slightly modified list of the PLX's current fleet of grain hoppers listed by builder (as of 10/1/2018).

it'll be 26 cars active for me soon, although i may be parting ways with my one Con-cor grain hopper at some point

Sorry to say this 1mtvan, but your count is off. You will have 24 cars (with 22 active) when your Con-Cor grain  disappears from the PLX's roster. This will reduce our railroad's grain train to 44 cars again, but losing 1 car isn't that big of a deal.

i haven't parted with my con-cor grain hopper yet you lunkhead. also, @djmarverlousmart may be sending us some more Kadee Couplers and knuckle springs as another contribution to the new layout, it's no grain hopper, but it's something that can definitely be put to use

I realize this but there's no need for name-calling.

a momentary lapse in judgement on my part, but i haven't parted with my con-cor grain hopper yet, but i will part with it once i can find a higher quality version of the same item
