First topic message reminder :
hi guys and gals,
am looking for some fun ways i can spend my summer this year now that i am again boycotting my train set for the summer, any constructive ideas are welcome, any ideas that are nonconstructive, mean spirited, pedantic,
and are overall disparaging, will be rejected and discarded

Re: Fun ways to spend a summer?
I always like to try something new what I wanted or enjoy something I like... So as I'm working for one in one informatics company on web developement I can't leave for much... Because of live support for our customers if their site is down or something so one of us - main developers must be avilable
But I like to ride a bike, I gotta get new tires (almost fall few times already because of them lol), change few repairs and make it ready for new season.
Also I like photography... And I'm working on some solo projects by making websites out of my company...
I'm also planing this summer to get license for motorcycle too, but I still can't afford myself one... That's cool thing too...
I don't know what you like and what you would like to do, but if you really have nothing, try finding something new and interesting for you and learn it. That could be really relaxing

Re: Fun ways to spend a summer?
I would say walking through parks is always good. Not sure how many they have those where you live Charlie. I also agree with the biking idea. That does work well in the summer and I usually see people biking out when it is nice and warm out. I would say if there is a national park not too far away it would be good to visit that park. Take a good hike to see the different views of the park. If they do allow biking in the park that could work too. That is just some more ideas from me
