Behringer audio interfaces: how are they?
Wasn't really sure where to put audio interface discussion, so move as needed.
But I noticed Behringer has a line of audio interfaces in the "U-PHORIA" series, and an ADAT interface called Ultragain Digital ADA8200.
Was wondering if anyone has used these products. I am looking into the ADA8200 to give my Focusrite audio interface some more inputs. It appears to be a knockoff of Focusrite's Scarlett series, judging by the red color. How's the quality?

Re: Behringer audio interfaces: how are they?
Yeah I just hoped I placed in the right area... I made it a sub forum to the mixing board/sound board forum. Do you think that fits? Or do yoh think somewhere else would suite better?
Re: Behringer audio interfaces: how are they?
I'd say the other way around, probably. Audio Interface > Mixing/Sound BoardBrandon wrote:Yeah I just hoped I placed in the right area... I made it a sub forum to the mixing board/sound board forum. Do you think that fits? Or do yoh think somewhere else would suite better?

Re: Behringer audio interfaces: how are they?
Well the Mixing board/sound board were there 1st. I mean unless we change this section to other forms of equipment. I just don't want it to be a main forum (on the index) right now because then I would have to find and add an icon for it today... I don't much feel like doing that today .
Re: Behringer audio interfaces: how are they?
I gotcha. But technically, a mixer is a type of audio interface.

@pwnsomewin What type of audio interface is this topic about specificly? Sound board? Speakers? Amps? Microphones? Because really the sections are laid out based on specific kinds.
Re: Behringer audio interfaces: how are they?
Well, it's just called an audio interface. I get what you're saying though. If I were the one making the forums, I'd make an "Audio Interface" forum in the "Equipment" category, and then making a sub-forum for "Mixing/Sound Boards". Then this topic would fit in the base audio interface forum.Brandon wrote:1mtvfan wrote:i dont know enough about all of this to comment sufficently

If you'd rather not change stuff around, you could probably get away with this topic in the "Mixing/Sound Boards", but it wouldn't be completely accurate, because these audio interfaces do not really have mixing controls; excluding volume knobs for each input.
On a note related to the topic, I will be getting the Behringer ADA8200 to give my Focusrite Scarlett audio interface some more inputs. Sadly there was little helpful information on the ADA8200, other than "gets the job done" and "good for price", so I'll share my experience with it.

Indeed.
Re: Behringer audio interfaces: how are they?
My mini review and impressions for the ADA8200 can be found here. I thought a review would be deserving of a new topic.

We just like to bump up topics every now and then to try and get them active if we can.
