I said second season... Was part of a story plot... He either was going to die or get badly injured and come close to dying.

wel, they wouldn't kill him off, or that would be the end of the show

Of course it did... It is popular, if its popular and makes money they will always renew it. Why do you think NCIS is making new episodes after like 10 seasons!

NCIS is falling out of favor, but shows like Blue bloods, The walking dead and Highway through hell will continue to be renewed, but the new season of HTH, which airs in September, will be its last. but it will live on in reruns

May run out, nothing is for certain. NCIS is not running out of favor, it has many many fans. Even if they discontiued the show, there are so many episodes, it would live on in reruns.

There are a lot of episodes! Will take a good year or two to play them all.

Maybe, but I know people still love to watch Law and order and they stopped making episodes of that years ago.
