Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
Am using Photoshop CC now actually. Haven't really came across any bugs but I've been using Photoshop for quite a while. There's hardly any other software that can replace its functionalities.

What are some of your favorite features?
Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
The basic tools are probably my fav, but there's also the improved ones like the various blur tools (iris, field, etc.). The content-aware fill is also made to be pretty smart. I've tried some other softwares that has the same feature but it's hard to really highlight and replace what you want, as compared to PS.
Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
What other kinds of software besides PS have you used? I will definitelly consider adding them. (this is Brandon on a regular account by the way).

I gave GIMP a try before but it was a few years ago, and their functionality is a lot lesser than what PS offers. But recently I've checked on GIMP again, and they have a library of plugins available now. I might give it a shot with the plugins in, but I think it'll take time for me to get used to a new work environment. I really like PS cause I've been using it since forever, but it's really expensive, and I'm not using it for professional work anyways, so I have to consider moving to alternatives.

I was taken a little aback when you say PS2. Ran a check on Google and now I'm even more surprised. I didn't expect Adobe to release their legacy versions as a freeware. Is that the only one?

Photoshop cs2 is only free. Others from cs2 aren't.
But I like ps2 because it is enought for me

Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
So... is PS2 an early verision of Photoshop? I assume it would be if it is now a freeware.
Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
Downloaded CS2 for the heck of it being free and was hoping that it'll at least have some of the good filter tools and manipulation that they have now but nope. And it doesn't even work on my MacBook, say it's a problem with it not having the right display for later versions of MacBooks. Oh well...
And yes Bran, Photoshop CS2 is an earlier version, I think from about more than 5 years ago now. The latest version is now Photoshop CC, and it'll be constantly updated and I don't think they'll push out new versions anymore.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Photoshop_version_history Google is your friend. Ask him
Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
Oh I forget about google, it is just easier to ask since my wifi stinks and I have 20 tabs open already. The more tabs, the more fighting it needs to work. Anyway I do not use wikipedia, it is edited by regular people and it is not fact most of the timr or only parts of it are fact.

Wow CS2! That I think I remember very vaguely, I have not done photo editing in awhile, but the ones I did do were simply sharping them and taking away some blurriness.
Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
Man, I have Photoshop CS5 at my home computer, but while I was at my mom's, I got to use a trial version of Photoshop CC and I miss it soooo much. The tools have improved in so many ways.
T-T Talk about a heart break. Wish I could afford CC.

Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
I JUST began playing around and learning photoshop. Thanks to one of my classes in school . They have the software and everything .
Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
I have CC, now. ^^ I'm so happy to have the updated version; it's really a great improvement, tool wise. The version is temporary, since it's through a school system while I'm enrolled, but yeah. It's awesome!

Re: General Adobe Photoshop Discussion!
Now learning some things in photoshop and I must say it is an incredible software and not as hard to figure out as I thought it would. It is all in experimentation .
