If anyone wants to know, Spotify has removed all content related to R. Kelly because of some "inappropriate comments" he has made recently.

I was wrong, R. Kelly's content is still on Spotify but is no longer on the "favorites" list.

I am not a big R.kelly fan myself but I'm somewhat relieved to know that one can still find his music on Spotify.

Yss R Kelly is way off topic. This topic is supposed to be about spotify itself as a program and what features make it good to use.

Let's try to remain on topic if we can.

Anyway I love that Spotify has millions of songs, all of which can be listened to for free (as long as your willing to put up with the ads) and makes for both a great way to dj and a good thing to listen to during a long car ride.

Well I do have a Spotify account. I am only doing the free right now. I know you got to pay to get premium which is 10 bucks a month even in Canada. But I am happy with free for now with ads even now and then. I could do premium at some point but I do love it to stream new music from my favorite artists or even listen to a podcast. I am also happy to make playlist I can listen to on there. I also love the playlists that Spotify makes for me like Discover Weekly, Release Radar, Summer Rewind, and Top Songs From 2017. I have been loving Spotify since I got it. I also wanted to add I have it on my laptop and my phone too. That is my thoughts

Loving spotify premium. I do not miss the ads at all.

What I like most about my particular Spotify premium is that, because I am a student and I searched the student premium on Google (they don't advertise it on their website for some reason), I not only get premium for half off (4.99 instead of the normal 10 dollars), but I always get a hulu subscription with it as well, which is basically free considering a hulu subscription at the base level is 8 bucks. I got quite the bargain.

If anyone here is students, I recommend you search 'Spotify premium for students' in Google and tak advantage of it while you. Never know when they take that great offer away.

Thanks for the tip Brandon. I am not a student and I will be probably paying 10 bucks in Canadian money each month. I do see a ad that says the first month is free. Not sure if that is true or not

Even the 10 dollars would be worth it for having no ads. Especially if you use it a lot.

Well I do use it a lot. Just mostly when I am holidays from work. Also once or two or maybe three times on the weekend when I am off from work. I can deal with the ads. But I am sure at some point I can upgrade to premium with paying 10 bucks a month. I am just thinking no point in doing that now if I don't use it a lot. It is mostly between my laptop and some times on my phone. But when listening on your phone it is a shuffled mix of a playlist or album you are listening to. It is good but I love listening to the playlists in order. But that is my thoughts

With premium you also can select songs from mobile. You dont have to just keep it on shuffle.

That is good to know Brandon. I am so used to the whole shuffle on the mobile app. But it is also good with playlists I made. Just the suggested tracks can be interesting songs too. But at some point i could get premium just not any time soon. I can get used to the ads for now. It works for me and that is what I am going to do
