is an XM account worth it? i mean is it any better than regular radio?

Is it better the regular radio, Absolutely it is commercial free (Because YOU are paying for it). Reception is much better (you can follow the same station pretty much anywhere in the country without fail) because it is through a satellite not a tower, the only way to lose reception is in a long tunnel or something.it is worth it absolutely.

Not really, it is like 100 dollars a year that is pretty cheap for all those features. I think they also have monthly plans for like 5 or 10 dollars a month.

true, but it adds up over time, 100 a month adds up to quite a lot at years end

either way, it adds up pretty fast, and many can only afford it for a year or less

well the reception issues can be very hard to take, because satellite signals are affected by weather
