Youtube streams

YouTube is a great place to go for videos, it even has a lot of old tv shows and many newer ones also, if limited on episodes.

I've also found the following programs on this website:

1.) Are you being served (British comedy)
2.) Danger on the rails (train documentary)
3.) Recuse 911 ()

The site does have a few movies too, but I should also mention that this website frequently performs "maintenance" (aka deleting old videos) so someone's favorite video may not be on there for very long.

They only remove videos that are reported for copyright infringement.

I have seen videos that have been removed due to complaints as well.

Yes that too. Essentily a video will only be taken down or reviewed by their moderation team if it is reported abd found to be violation of their TOU or the law.

videos are also removed if they are deemed unsafe or too inappropriate for viewing even by registered members

As I said, if a video is reported and found to be in violation of the Youtube terms of use by their moderation team, the video will be removed.

U are right about this brandon, but 1mtvfan is also right. YouTube also does regular "maintenance" (aka removing old videos) almost every night.

I wouldn't call it maintence so much as moderating. It is very similar to what we do around here, keep things in order, move topics, remove, edit and/or lock stuff that is against our rules. Its the same thing there!

Maybe, but one can still find old topics on here (via "the dump" section) whereas old items are fully removed from the YouTube server.

the maintenance on you tube is more a case of removing content that is a violation of copyright or is offensive, there's videos still up from 2001, because the YouTube brass says it's OK for them to stay

I have also recently seen that an entire YT channel has been removed.

well, that would be a copyright violation as the reason for removal
