I Love Playstation 2

I love Playstation 2 as I play most of my NBA basketball games on there. Just wanted to say Playstation 2 is the best

No Playstation one is the same thing as the same as PS. It is the original PS, most people just call it PS One after PS 2.

Playstation One is simply the original Playstation, nothing else.

No... the original playstation is called simply playstation, however once playstation 2 came out it became dubbed 'playstation one'.

It is sort of like World War 1... before World war 2 it was called the Great war... once world war 2 came along it was re nicknamed world war 2... because now it was not the only great war. That same idea is why the original playstation is also called playstation one now.

Yeah, those were the last, later models that were made after the pc was released and made, right before they canceled production... still the same device... end of story. It does not matter if it is a different size or not, I had 3 playstation one's 2 the same size (1 busted) the 2nd smaller and had its own built in screen, they were the same thing though.

No it is the same system, the original playstation, I don't care if it was smaller, there were multiple version of the original playstation (aka the playstation one)... all different sizes and shapes, trust me... my grandfather had a ton of them, I owned one way past the time they stop making them, they say only 'playstation' and me and my grandfather called it playstion 1 after the PS 2 came out (we also had one of those as well). So it is not like I do not know what I am talking about... I do. They are 1 in the same.

No they are not... I think you have it confused, they are the same system. There is no such system as the PS X... maybe there was a version of the playstation one (the ORIGINAL) playstation that was version X... but it is still the exact same system.

You are getting system and version confused, it was the playstation one (the original playstation) but version X, there were numerous versions of the console made, version xl, version 1, version 2, etc.... they never make only 1 version of a system, but the versions are still the same console, just different versions. Do you understand now? If you don't I can point you to many examples of VERSIONS of the same console.

no it is not, there is NO PS X! There is no such thing! I have owned every playstation console up to PS 3 I have never heard of any such console. So that is how I know you are confused.

There is only [original] Playstation (Which also is known as playstation one). So just admit they are one in the same and stop trying to confuse the rest of us.

If you still insist a simple version remake is not the same console, I will point you to plenty of evidence... they did the same thing in the Nintendo DS handheld systems.

This is the DSi and the DSi XL... they are the exact same system, but different SIZES (Just like you describe), they have the same features, they are the same system, JUST DIFFERENT VERSIONS


Still not satisifed? How about the 3DS and the 3DS XL? Only difference is the size, the features are the same, the functions are the same, same system... JUST DIFFERENT VERSIONS


This is exactly what they did with the playstation one, it is the same system, they just made different versions that are different SIZES but the FUNCTIONS and FEATURES are the same, therefore the same system.

i am not confused, the PSone is a different system from the PS console, but it is geard exactly like a PS system. but this has strayed from the topic again

Alright I am going to win and close this arguement once and for all. Here is a Wikipedia article that explains that the PSOne, PS (playstation) and psx are all names for the SAME console/system.

so you we are BOTH right, yes the original playstation is known sometimes as the PSx it is ALSO known as the ps one... see? So I as I said before, it is the same console, the original playstation.

the original is the PSX, the PSone is the PSX slim.

Still the same system either way, size doesn't really matter in the game industry, whether you have a slim one or not the function is the same, therefore it is the same and if you view that article you will see it says VERY CLEARLY they are all names for the same thing.
