Should we keep the staff background colors?

Hello BD users,

I just finished adding the next staff gradient: Moderators. You should now see a blue background behind every Moderator's post. Preview of the gradient:


I apologize for the time it is taking for me to complete this project. Between work and school, trying to find time to begin making the necessary code modifications, testing them and then finally transferring it is hard.

I hope you all like the update? Should I continue adding them or no? Please give your feedback on this new, very minor update.

I know that its just an example, but the new background does make it easier to see a user's posts.

this is for staff, so others know what users are on the staff

Correct and correct. I love the blue too.

There is A very small possibility it could be expanded to vip members .

Next up for a gradient is the gfx designers .

I did vote no but it seems it was a majority for yes on the color background thing for staff

well, i think it's another more recognizable way of telling the staff from the regular members

Oh so you were the one 'No' vote . Why do think we should not keep it? Any particular reason? If it were ever up for consideration that it be expanded to VIP Members, would you be for it or against it? I would love to hear your feedback, as always .

That is generally the consenus yes .

Well it is based on rank, the rank is what provides the color. It would be possible though, yes. We just have to create like a bunch of VIP Member ranks .

i don't think it needs to go that far, but a color for each VIP member should be decided on and then assigned

That is how we would have to do it. The only other way is to do it for all.

We will cross that bridge when we get to it, it is still a little ways in the future, for one I have to get all the staff teams' gradients up before we even consider discussing doing that. Anyway, this is a staff-vip member discussion, not a let's discuss this in public discussion .
