Re: Train sets!
A further update here, LCVR 8502 has just entered the repair shop in order to have its accident damage inspected. There is no word about if this damage can be fixed or not at this time, but please stand by for further updates.

Re: Train sets!
If anyone wants to know, the LCVR's other two F9A units with the number 6500 (which were also using letters A & B) have been sent to the scrap yard on account of several Irreparable mechanical problems. So selling them for metal reclamation (aka scrap) was the cheapest option.

Re: Train sets!

Re: Train sets!
update, LVCRR is working well, save for a few minor hiccups, remember i said i have a renumbered hopper car? well, here's a pic of it.
[Only mods are allowed to see this link]
basically just a number that i printed out from my PC and pasted it on the sides, but it looks almost like the original number has been painted over and the new number was then added.

Re: Train sets!
Got an update to share with everyone here. Due to some minor but bothersome knuckle coupler issues, the 5937 will be replaced by the 5243 (another former CN Rail SD40-2 that was rebuilt after being damaged in a rock-slide).

Re: Train sets!
I have to admit that 1mtvfan's break from operating sessions has me thinking, but the details of these thoughts will be shared (in a very concentrated effort to maintain peace on the site). Moving along, former Conrail SD40-2 6408 is making its return to the railroad after a brief stay in the maintenance/repair shop tonight & a single-operator session will be taking place as well.

I appreciate that, thank you.
I guess there be no more pictures of the train set this summer then? Unless TTFan takes some and posts them.
