couldn't get a pic of the old bridge deck with the warp in it, but got some pics of the progress on the new drop bridge ss well as some new containers, which are here now.

still fighting with the inside corner, tracks are also installed for the outside line, but there has been no power added yet, still have to add the inside line track before power is added, and are working
on using a clamp to try and get rid of "the lip" on the inside corner

Ah ok!

the lip though is very slight, but it may still prove to be a problem, and since my father has already drilled the snot of the area now, we are resorting to the clamp.

the new drop bridge is proving to be most taxing, but it will be solved

It will be little bit longer before the trains are running again, but such won't be that long.

new drop bridge is installed and tracks are in place, just have to power up the outside track, which will happen at some point during the week, but now there are no more break ways on the eastbound line, which is a thrill, WAHOO! and also looking at a new container crane device, as well as a possible kill switch for the drop bridge.picture follows.

that's pretty much the size of it, but there is now a clamp and a small plank
to keep the high side of the bridge down.

TT fan is also getting back locomotive that i have taken the leap on to have built after almost 5 years of just sitting on a shelf forgotten about, i will however make him chip in some $$$'s for the cost.

makes sense, as it's his locomotive that's being built

further update, both lines are powered up, but the test run of the outside track has proved chaotic
but this may be due to a slight detail that has been overlooked, and will be corrected when the layout is visited again, lastly, apologies for a double post. yet another update, tracks are powered, and power issues have mostly been solved, also switches for lower loop and helix have been added, just have to sort out the individual freight equipment issues. will get some pics of the new switches on next visit
