we are right now waiting for the temperatures to equal out,but the new deck for the drop bridge has been built and is waiting to be installed

update, drop bridge deck has been installed and has passed the preliminary tests, roadbed and tracks have yet to be installed and power added to it. will add pics if you all wish

OK, that's one vote for more pics, but there's got to be more consensus. I should have mentioned this earlier, but if you guys can think of a good twitter account name, please feel free to let myself or TTfan know. yeah, an there's another drop bridge in the works, but that's on the "back shelf" until we get the helix
and reverse loop rig in place for the upper section.

Ah cool! When is the [Only mods are allowed to see this link] and [Only mods are allowed to see this link] being built?

the lower reverse loop is nearly complete, so we have to complete that, then add in the upper
level's reverse loop, then the helix i think, still looking into the kill switch and how to to make that
section a layout into a separate power block to isolate it from the rest of the layout.

Unfortunately such is an undetermined situation at present, but its going to happen.

well it makes sense to isolate the bridge block from the rest of the layout, because it would work better that way, but i have my doubts it will happen for a while

Why won't it happen for awhile?

just not enough priority on it to get done, so it has to wait

What is 'priority' then?

it's just how things go for some stupid reason, the high priority jobs get done first, and the low priority ones get left to wait

No no, that makes sense and is smart, I just meant what is top prority currently?

right now, it's transferring the roadbed, tracks, and power from the old bridge deck to the new one because the bridge is useless for the trains without them. still working on the pic of the old bridged deck to show how much it has warped

Yes that does sound like it belongs top priority. Hope [Only mods are allowed to see this link] contiunes smoothly and steadily.
