still no prep work for the new set has begun, and only excuses and foot dragging come as answers as to why, very tiresome and annoying, #miserablesummercontinues

update, new grain hopper is on the way, or at least it will be soon,, and as of July 31, the former liptonville site will no longer be under my possession, and super super upset about the constant foot dragging, especially when there's time to prep the site for the PRLX

Just so everyone knows, the setup's name has been changed to Phoenix Line and uses the reporting mark PLX.

Update,
As it stands right now, I will not be getting any more cylindrical grain Hoppers from the lady friend of mine In nj Sad but I am getting one from my buddy that I work for, So as it stands now, I am at 23 grain hoppers,
but  I am still committed to cutting myself off soon, at least for cylindrical Anyway, I am also thinking  I should cut myself off from grain hoppers  In general soon, as they can get quite heavy and weight is difficult
For locos to handle. So if you all agree, you’re free to make your voices heard

Thanks for the updates Charlie. 23 grain hoppers is a lot of them. That is quite the collection you got there. But not sure where you store all of them Smile

Re: Train sets!

Post by 1mtvfan on Tue 31 Jul 2018, 8:46 am

well @DJJosh, when on the layout, i will store them on what is called a siding or a spur line, and i have already explained a spur line and a siding already, right now though i store them in whatever space i can find, which means in their boxes, or in a big box so i can keep them all together. @Tigertankfan does the same, but for him it's a bit more difficult as he has quite a number more of them than i do. And my lady friend in NJ will be sending me 2 more when she can, but I'm not sure if they'll be Cylindrical or not or one of each.
