update, the 2 new grain hoppers from [Only mods are allowed to see this link] have arrived, but have not hit the rails of the layout yet, but sadly, TTFan is continuing the immaturity trip and it shows no signs of ending anytime soon, so unfortunately it means i will be sitting out for a long time to come Sad  it also means that there will have to be some cleaning to the rails before the next operating session can commence. Sad

Update, paid a visit to the LVCRR, sadly TTfan is still playing the Immaturity game and pulled up his stakes at the last minute of the journey preparations, which is incredibly immature, so it means i will continue to boycott until the immaturity trip ends, because i have already said i will not operate solo anymore. Also, back corner near the freight station has lifted up again, which is being very annoying when i run my container train, bcause it means my AP flats have to remain out of the consist,that's not what i got them for. Sad also, new pic follows

Went for a solo operating session this afternoon and things were not smooth sailing due to winter-induced problems. As for why I've chosen to avoid combined sessions, [Only mods are allowed to see this link] has developed issues with controlling his emotions plus the setup builder is easily upset as well.

that coming from the same boat with emotional control issues as any of the other remaining operator and builder, if not more. as i said, if [Only mods are allowed to see this link] avoids a combined session, i will not go either, i refuse to do anymore solo sessions, which means the long miserable winter continues, no thanks to TTfan's immaturity. I am also VERY much considering packing up my stuff for the remainder of the year if he continues to be immature and refuses to attend a group operating session.

and if you do want to contribute, the scale is HO, so look for anything with that scale listed on the box or packaging, and online should you choose to go that route.

update, former CP rail 8205 has returned to the LVCRR, it just has to make it's debut after almost a year in the repair shop. former Soo line no. 772 and former BNSF no. 7835 are still in repairs, but 7835 is getting close to exit, 772 will be in a while longer as it needs a new rear driveshaft, disappointing, but unfortunatey, there's nothing more i can do. also, there are 2 new units to add to the LVCRR fleet, which should be taking their first runs tonight, and on DCC.

further update, former CP Rail GP35 no. 8205 has failed the DCC test and needs further repairs, however, the new locomotive arrival, former Conrail SD45 no. 6641has passed the test and performed flawlessly, even under load, pictures follow.

Former Conrail SD45 no. 6144 resting on a turntable spur after successfully completing its initial trials.

Next up is former CP rail GP9 no, 8827 for DCC tests, then the CN rail F9B, may try 8205 again later also, but it will go back to the repair shop at some point

further update, paid a visit earlier today to the set, DCC tests are continuing,, but am thinking 8205 and 8827 need a visit to the repair works also tried the B unit on DCC, and nothing happened, but it is ok if that one does not work on DCC, because we will soon have at least 2 locos that are working on DCC. Also still waiting for TTFan to end the immaturity trip.

Unfortunately what 1mtvfan fails to realize here is that a setup like this one is meant to be fun for those that use it, but this activity is not fun when a user frequently makes small issues (such as scale knuckle coupler heights) into big ones (and that's why I haven't been going to operating sessions lately). Another issue that's creating headaches is 8827's refusal to power up & operate. There has been some discussion regarding the matter of taking it back to the place it was purchased but daily priorities keep getting in the way. I for one find this to be very frustrating but such can't be avoided.

well, it's really going to be a miserable winter if TTFan keeps up the immaturity trip, as i will continue to sit out out sessions if i have to go solo, and TTfan fails to realize the setup was built to be operated, not left to sit disused and ignored, ttfan is also just as guilty of getting upset when his trains have coupler issues, so it's yet another case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Latest update here, the cold weather plus Christmas plans have made it virtually impossible for those involved in the setup to have operating sessions. I for one am very disappointed about this but such is unavoidable for the most part.

update, went for an operating session today, which will most likely be the last operation session for 2016, and one new grain hopper from [Only mods are allowed to see this link] has made it to the rails, so it has been added to the westbound grain consist, after some minor adjustments and repairs, have to wait and see if there will be a operating session tomorrow and future sessions for 2017, because as of last October, i will always refuse to go solo anymore. really waiting for TTFfan to end the immaturity trip.
